Armed Forces and Police National Hospital: In return for providing a variety of medical equipment and medicine (in excess of US$100,000), the Hospital Nacionál provides FREE medical care, including surgeries, to those that request assistance from the Foundation. Many residents of “El Tamarindo” (the community where Field of Dreams is located) benefit greatly from the alliance between the Manny Mota International Foundation and this public hospital.

Dominican Republic Programs
Field of Dreams: The namesake of our annual fundraiser, Campo de Sueños is a multi-functional Complex that includes a Recreational Community Center, a Medical Dispensary, and several Baseball Fields. Facilities planned for the future include an Elementary School, Playgrounds and Basketball Courts. Manny Mota initiated the construction of this Field of Dreams in 1995 to bring to fruition his vision of bettering the lives of the people of the Dominican Republic.

Los Angeles Area Programs
Community Baseball Clinics: Each year the Foundation offers several Baseball Clinics to communities throughout the Los Angeles area that feature Dodger players (current and retired) who teach baseball tips and tricks to children of all ages. As one of our most popular programs, the Clinics draw an average of 400 kids to each event, with each child receiving individual attention. The goal of the Clinics is to provide positive role models for the children and encouragement for kids to turn to education and sports as an alternative to the dangerous lifestyles often prevalent in their neighborhoods.
