Message from Manny and Margarita Mota

Dear Friends,

Helping the disadvantaged improve their lives is an extremely rewarding experience. For the past three decades we have been blessed with the opportunity to help others in many different ways. Starting out with few resources, including a 50-pound cooking pot for boiling rice, our family began providing meals to the needy children living in our neighborhood. God has given us the vision to share with others what He has given us in this life, and we quickly learned that the greatest gift we could give those in need was the love we have for them.

I guess you could say our cooking pot has increased in size over the past 30 years. Today, our Foundation provides much needed Humanitarian support in both the Dominican Republic and Los Angeles areas. With donations from Corporations and Friends, and the tireless help of an all-volunteer staff, we work to achieve our goals, year after year, of providing our youth with the education, hope, inspiration and incentives that will chart a more positive future for themselves and their communities.

Everyone at the Manny Mota International Foundation is dedicated to providing good medical care and food to build strong bodies… Inspiration, love, guidance and education to build strong minds. It’s all about the children, and ensuring that families enjoy a better quality of life and a brighter future.
